Maud Poudat
Managing Partner
Maud Poudat is a native of France, born in Nantes, Brittany. She received a law degree from the Université de Droit de Nantes in 2001. Maud Poudat immigrated to the United States and received her Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School in 2003. While in law school, she participated in the International Moot Court Competition and received the award of 14th best Oralist.
Maud Poudat joined Maney & Gordon, P.A. in November 2004 as an associate attorney and practices in the area of immigration law. Maud's excellent record of client service has lead to her being named the managing partner of the Orlando branch in November of 2009. She represents clients with their family immigration ranging from K-3 visas, fiancé and immigrant visas, adjustment of status, but also with their extension and change of status, asylum, naturalization, and with their removal defense (deportation) and federal litigation.
Maud Poudat was a speaker on a local Orlando radio station Viva 1160am and is a mentor for the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children.
Maud Poudat was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in 2004. She is authorized to appear before the Supreme Court of Florida, all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association, the French Alliance of Greater Orlando and the French American Chamber of Commerce.
